Hello! I'm Heather, the Crochet Fiber Artist and Designer. Creative Treasures by Heather specializes in baby blankets, plushies, and crochet patterns.
My journey began when I learned to crochet the basics from my grandma 40 years ago, as a child at about 8 or 9 years old. This has inspired my love for crochet and to learn more over the years. I hope to carry on her legacy through my own treasures.
Creative Treasures by Heather was founded in 2019, as a way to share my love of crochet with others. In 2020, I taught myself how to crochet amigurumi animals and I launched my own line of crochet patterns in 2024.
My hope is that my handcrafted gifts become keepsakes that you and your loved ones can enjoy for many years.
Before taking my crochet business full time, I worked in Early Childhood Education for more than 20 years, as a preschool teacher and daycare owner.
When I'm not crocheting, I love hanging out with my husband and 2 dogs, being outside and watching the sunrise.
